Kendrick will auto win but I hope the Clipse get something. They deserve rap AOTY over GNX, by far.

Agreed, just saying they deserve it. GNX is dope but that Clipse album is a seminal work IMO. And I like the idea of veterans winning a big award. I hope we see new rap categories added for “traditional rap” or something like that so vets can win without competing with mainstream records. Similar to how there’s pop (Lady Gaga) and traditional pop (Tony Bennett).

Yeah pretty much. That clipse album is decent, but GNX is a seminal work objectively. And I like the idea of people deserving of awards, actually winning those awards.

GB pretty much confirmed GNX is still the huge favorite for the big categories. Which isn't really a surprise considering its the most deserving project.

But they're predicting he might be robbed of AOTY because of Bad Bunny having the superbowl right on time
