Luther won Best Melodic Rap Performance and Record of the Year, making Kendrick the first rapper and first male artist to win the latter award in consecutive years.

Kendrick also won Best Rap Performance for his feature on Clipse Chains & Whips.

With these wins Kendrick Lamar has swept the rap categories for the third time following his dominance at the 2016 & 2018 ceremonies.

He is also now the most awarded rapper ever with 28 Grammys, surpassing Jay-Z (26)
