Dope album

Great flow, great beats, executed the concept flawlessly....the album flows great.

VERY VERY DOPE album but goddamn y'all go overboard over everything on here. I skimmed thru this thread thinking when the link was done downloading, I was gonna hear The Chronic, Illmatic, Only Built for Cuban Linx, and Death Certificate all rolled into one

how would you be able to make a real decision by skimming through the songs? i'm not saying it's the best album ever or probably even of this year but it's top 3-5 IMO

Backseat freestyle gets alot of shade...

But it fits the structure of the album. It definitely represents what he thought what hip-hop was supposed to be at that time in his life. It sounds like he freestyled it without any thought as to what he was saying. Care free like the life he was living in the story.

It definitely is....this is one of the first unfiltered views we've gotten from a 90's baby....well at least one that grew up in the 90s post truce in Cali.

He mentions it a few times on the album...but what he and his homies gravitated to was Jeezy....E-40...etc. Just the mind set of balling out at all costs and being the man. That's what they expected to be reality even tho they were still poor.

That's what he thought the culture was. And his life's purpose.

Backseat freestyle was the only song i wasn't feeling but after 3 days its grown on me, #GKMC is all killer, no filler. AOTY for sure.
