Breh just trying to walk back to my car was hectic. I had a bag full of merchandise trying to squeeze by people lol
Honestly a top 5 let out experience for me. I wasn’t even mad I got back to the spot TWO HOURS after Gloria played lol
I thought parking at a hotel a mile away from the venue would've helped some. Nope. Then I probably fukked it up going the wrong way on a one way street getting out of the hotel garage which took me deeper into the traffic. By the time I drove back to Columbia it was 2:30 before I walked in my door. And my daughter still had to drive 20 minutes to get back to her place.
I knew it was going to be a wild night when I saw people abandoning their Ubers miles away just to get TO the show lol. I have a few thoughts about how the city handled the influx of people, but about 60k people is a tall order and the night was still a movie

It's just a bad idea in general having Bank of America Stadium and Spectrum Stadium all in the middle of a downtown area. Stadiums like that need to be where there is quick access to highways and not be in a area with a lot of stoplights. There is a reason in most cities the sports arenas are off on their own and any businesses around them are designed for foot traffic.

If you put adequate public transportation in the area it works even Atlanta for this right

Charlotte show went crazy even in the rain. Took me 90 minutes to get out the fukking parking lot after.

Did you park at the stadium? I parked in a parking garage about 3 blocks down of S. College and was out of the garage immediately and back on the interstate in about 10 minutes.

I was surprised because with the weather I expected it to be absolutely crazy

Show was dope
A real production

Getting out was another thing…Philly PD gotta do better :russ:
Never seen it that bad for any event in the complex
It's always bad like that after an event ends. It was bad like this back in 2022 during his Big Steppas Tour. As soon as you get in your you might as well turn some tunes or podcast on cause you're not leaving no time soon

Only negative nitpick, is that the official merch look like bootleg merch. I copped 2 shirts for me and a hoodie for the wife for $230 and supported my local bootlegger with a $20 tee purchase
I don't think it was all bad (that work vest being $150 for simply having SZA name on there though was :usure: )
But the hustlemans definitely did have some clean shirts. I'm just glad most of them learned their lesson from the previous Kendrick concert and started using cashapp so I was able to get my mom a shirt for $10

:ahh:
