Went to the Philly show.
This is my 3rd time seeing Kendrick perform live.
1st time was 2011, during the Secction.80 tour. Kendrick was buzzing for a minute due to OD & KLEP, but I kept putting him off......then I finally gave Wanna Be Heard a listen

followed by Heart Pt 2

I legit remember working at the Post Office warehouse off loading pallets and shyt.....and stopped everything I as doing when I heard this shyt. Knew on the spot our generation finally got a legitimate GOAT contender. Next day gave Section.80 a front to back spin...for some reason, was not that impressed on the initial listen. Ran it back and thought it was a classic

(same shyt happened with American Gangster for me). Bought tickets for a show coming up in a couple of weekends. Was at Revolution down in Ft Lauderdale/Miami. I remember it being PACKED with Asians, them nikkas swarmed the front of the pit/stage. I assumed it was cause of the California/West Coast connection with Asians. I actually dapped Kendrick up while he was on stage, distinctly remember thinking he gotta work on his breath control, clarity, and overall live performance. This wasn't to say he was bad back then, but because I just got put on to his music.....the performance side stuck out more to me since I couldn't just rely on rocking with catalog.
Saw him again...DAMN in 2017, AAA arena nosebleeds in Miami......any performance issues I saw before was put to fukking rest. nikka sounded damn near as clear as Jay. Could tell he cared about the craft of shyt.
This shyt right here?

"6 am, six miles a day, conditioning my wind" The enegry, candence, mixed with clarity.....only second to DMX that I've seen for myself. shyt was AMAZING.
- The set pieces, pyro work, the back and forth between him and SZA, skits,...both them having clear vocals with minimal to zero back track.......in those terms best hip hop show I've been to, passing WTT.
- Crowd was electric
- Respectfully, Mustard is not a real DJ.

He did enough to get shyt going but lol shyt as like somebody just passed that nikka the aux. Think the show is slated for 7pm, Mustard's set is starts around 7:20ish last for about 35 minutes. Good bops and what not, especially to get the women hype. But don't expect any type of DJ Dummy mixes/transitions.
- 1st and last time buying 'floor' seats. It was definitely hype but as you getting hype and rocking out with your peoples, you basically just watching the screen instead. Feel like you could do both from the elevated seats. (easy access bathrooms was nice tho)
