nikkas can cyse Not Like Us or Meet the Grahams all they want but to hear an entire stadium in unison recite that “you got shyt twisted” line from Euphoria was a moment I’ll never forget. It’s like nikkas stand on their tippy toes and lean forward to say that part
euphoria a legendary diss track it just got overshadowed because not like us a banger

Went to the Philly show.

This is my 3rd time seeing Kendrick perform live.

1st time was 2011, during the Secction.80 tour. Kendrick was buzzing for a minute due to OD & KLEP, but I kept putting him off......then I finally gave Wanna Be Heard a listen :ohhh: followed by Heart Pt 2 :wow: I legit remember working at the Post Office warehouse off loading pallets and shyt.....and stopped everything I as doing when I heard this shyt. Knew on the spot our generation finally got a legitimate GOAT contender. Next day gave Section.80 a front to back spin...for some reason, was not that impressed on the initial listen. Ran it back and thought it was a classic :russ:(same shyt happened with American Gangster for me). Bought tickets for a show coming up in a couple of weekends. Was at Revolution down in Ft Lauderdale/Miami. I remember it being PACKED with Asians, them nikkas swarmed the front of the pit/stage. I assumed it was cause of the California/West Coast connection with Asians. I actually dapped Kendrick up while he was on stage, distinctly remember thinking he gotta work on his breath control, clarity, and overall live performance. This wasn't to say he was bad back then, but because I just got put on to his music.....the performance side stuck out more to me since I couldn't just rely on rocking with catalog.

Saw him again...DAMN in 2017, AAA arena nosebleeds in Miami......any performance issues I saw before was put to fukking rest. nikka sounded damn near as clear as Jay. Could tell he cared about the craft of shyt.

This shyt right here? :wow: :wow::wow: "6 am, six miles a day, conditioning my wind" The enegry, candence, mixed with clarity.....only second to DMX that I've seen for myself. shyt was AMAZING.

- The set pieces, pyro work, the back and forth between him and SZA, skits,...both them having clear vocals with minimal to zero back track.......in those terms best hip hop show I've been to, passing WTT.

- Crowd was electric

- Respectfully, Mustard is not a real DJ. :mjlol:He did enough to get shyt going but lol shyt as like somebody just passed that nikka the aux. Think the show is slated for 7pm, Mustard's set is starts around 7:20ish last for about 35 minutes. Good bops and what not, especially to get the women hype. But don't expect any type of DJ Dummy mixes/transitions.

- 1st and last time buying 'floor' seats. It was definitely hype but as you getting hype and rocking out with your peoples, you basically just watching the screen instead. Feel like you could do both from the elevated seats. (easy access bathrooms was nice tho)

Getting out was another thing…Philly PD gotta do better :russ:
Never seen it that bad for any event in the complex
:dahell:getting back on to the train took mad fukking long. And part of it I think was just PD making sure everybody paid.
I remember after a US Open let out in NY, them nikkas was just letting nikkas hop on for free basically so they could make sure the area was cleared and everybody got back to where ever in the city.

Philly tho? :skip: them nikkas make suring they get every coin
Only negative nitpick, is that the official merch look like bootleg merch. I copped 2 shirts for me and a hoodie for the wife for $230 and supported my local bootlegger with a $20 tee purchase
Facts. The bootleg shyt looked better than both. SZA shyt was better than Kendrick's. I ended up copping an official GNX shirt, but in hindsight should've just grabbed a bootleg.
Really wish they would’ve let me bring my camera in
I left my camera thinking it wouldn't be allowed in. :beli: multiple brehs had there Canon's, Fuji's, etc. Big lens too.

Could just be a Philly/Lincoln Financial Field thing tho.....pat down and all that was non-existent :mjlol:we knocked out some mini liquor bottles on our way to the show thinking they wouldn't be allowed inside.....man we could've brung a whole 5th in that bytch

She had them girls next to me losing their minds. She’s really a spirit animal for these chicks
I severely underestimated how popular SZA is. Funny it didn't even seem like it was split amongst gender lines, but racial lines.

Seemed like 40-50% of the white folk at the Philly concert were dressed down in SZA merch. White women and men going word for word crazy with her too.

Gotta applaud TDE, even tho I fukked with them, in 2011 I would have never thought they could produce a pop talent of SZA's style and magnitude. Her live game is dope too, and I say that as someone who doesn't really care for her style of singing/vocals.

I’m far from a Kendrick stan and probably can’t even rap along to a whole song of his besides stuff on section 80 and not like us but I’m telling you this show was legendary. I went on Friday and I’m still thinking about this shyt on Sunday night. If you have an opportunity to see this show live then do it. shyt is dope and a historic moment in hip hop.

Yea that’s definitely Philly lol, they was not playing that shyt over here in NYC.

Asked 3 different security guards about it and they all said nope :beli: :martin::childplease:

If I remember too, you could bring bottles into MetLife as well, I was so perplexed :wtf:
