Because it was experimental and creative pretentious people felt the need to overhype it as some masterpiece

I'm creative.

i'm learning harmony/voice leading and counter point in my free time.
I fukking love music but I listen to shyt like Xxplosive when I wanna unwind.

I'm about us "unpretentious" about music as one can be and with that said, TPAB was
fukking great not because it was harmonically (and rhythmically/melodically at times) on some other shyt
that Hip-Hop and popular music in general never touches but because the theme was DOPE.

And to be honest this shyt is only considered "Experiemental" in Hip-Hop because the ceiling
for musicality is right there with Punk Music, low enough for a lot of people to get in but just high
enough to where you appreciate the true creatives.
