Yeah. That would have been smart. I suspect his contract situation with his label is not allowing him to do that. Doesn't he have like $400 million he needs to recoup.

If that's true then he's even dumber than I thought he was. The best thing for him to do (if him not having financial obligations is true) is to disappear for a year, from all media, social media etc., and work on an artistically relevant album that would at the very least appeal to his fans. Now I've obviously never liked Drake but the crazy thing about his recent run is that the die hard fans don't even like what he's been putting out. Crodie needs to disappear for a bit.

That's what everybody has been saying, just disappear and come back stronger, but it's gotta be something with the contract he's in cause I know he has 1 more album left on the deal before he's a Free Agent.
I guess Drake was thinking if he beats Kendrick, drops this album, instead of 600 mil, maybe he can get closer to 800 or whatever.
I also think he wants to see Kendrick's contract cause Kendrick can chill and not drop anything and then just drop randomly without a rollout and be good and shyt.
