No not really.
Being part of the problem is NOT transcending boundaries.

That's like saying back during slavery a Black man transcended boundaries by becoming an entrepreneur & owning his own group of slaves.

You do not transcend boundaries without crossing the fence.

Obama is just Bush #2

You're right to a degree but you're ignoring the (legitimate) other side to it. And that's what it actually means to the "African" Americans of today in real time in real life. The Ones that it really effects and that it really matters to

Because intellectually, how could One argue against the merits of Barack Obama and Kendrick Lamar without using Facts? It makes for a hilarious emotional troll "debate". But in real it's just dumb :mjcry:

What President Obama Told Kendrick Lamar When He Visited The White House

ANOTHER ROUND: Who is your favorite rapper?
JARRETT: Oh my gosh—
ANOTHER ROUND: It’s OK if you don’t listen to rap, but if you do, I do need to know.
JARRETT: I like Jay Z, I like Jay Z. Valerie needs to shut the hell up :comeon:
ANOTHER ROUND: Got a favorite song?
JARRETT: Not really, but you know what, Kendrick Lamar was just here, too. You know what, I was really impressed with him—
ANOTHER ROUND: He was here?
JARRETT: He was at the White House. He came and he visited the president, and you know what the president said to him? [Because] he was a little nervous — bless his heart, he’s really a very nice young man, and the president said, “Can you believe that we’re both sitting in this Oval Office?”

:troll: :russ: aww the young man was so nervous. be nice men to women brehs :beli:

Because intellectually
The other side is a dangerous side...
The other side is Symbolism.
Throughout history man has used Symbolism to almost control people's minds in a manner of speaking.

From using the American flag to convince republican conservatives to adhere to what the powers that be consider patriotic, from criminal intent to sounding the drums of war.

To blacks voting for a black president for mere Symbolism.
To women voting for Hillary for mere symbolism.

Symbolism has always been the enemy of mankind.
And there is nothing intellectual about supporting an individual for the wrong facade-like reasons.

Einstein once said: "Nationalism is an infantile disease of mankind".

I believe the same is true about symbolism!

TDE posted a promo about it; I'm on my phone and can't find it now. Basically it's a promo about mentorship. Kendrick is joining the Big Brothers Big Sisters campaign. That's s good look.

Ayo if y'all can you should definitely check out Big Brothers Big Sisters and see if there's one in your area. I've been helping out at mine for a few years. You get to help some kids, chill, etc. I taught some kids how to play chess, helped with homework...but most importantly I introduced a couple kids to Illmatic.
