He’s talking about setting free his own family trauma though. He’s breaking the curses for his kids that he and his parents endured.

And the raped our mothers (slavery) part is true lol

But he's also saying he's setting free everyone's trauma which goes back to the savior thing, while also being cringe worthy. Yes the slavery part is true. Just didn't land for me and I didn't like the energy/pace buildup either, which just felt weird.
