Album has no replay value. I was vibing first couple listens but no tracks stuck with me. We try together nonsense had my attention but again not much replay value after a few listens. Failed the whip test miserably. Kendrick is good storyteller and expresses personal stuff well but he is not as deep as he’s marketed as. He’s conscious on a very surface level.

I appreciate what he did on this album. Personal. Truth revealing.
But it's not good music. It's more him just stating his ideas.
Going from track to track I find it hard to focus on what he's even saying. I love Kendrick but this album isnt that good.
There's been a lot of of music in the past that got personal and controversial it still has the balance of being music. Biggie Suicidal Thoughts. Even Kendrick on Duckworth.

I think that's what Kendrick lost on this one. Wanting to express himself but forgetting it's an art.
again ,this is an art project. Not an album

Been listening to it every day since release. I will admit I can't always listen to Mother I Sober. Amazing song but at times I now skip it. Too heavy for casual listening.

Only track on the album that has been a constant skip for me is Crown.
We Cry Together I don't listen to all the time.

Other than that I can let it ride.
