This album could easily be either:
Album of the year
Album of the decade
Best album of all time
Or all 3
:ohhh:

I’m soooo looking forward to Kenny’s album and NaS’ KD3 duking it out with each other for those three titles, it’s all I ever wanted between them…Some GOAT-level competition with each other, it’s like NaS is Rakim and Kendrick is NaS :wow:

The Heart Pt 5 has to be on the album. No others were cleared and placed on streaming services.

Knowing how expensive and tedious clearing samples can be especially a Marvin Gaye sample there’s no way he’ll let it be a loosie

I feel like Part 4 was briefly on Streaming Services and then taken down after the album dropped.

But NONE of them had videos or expensive ass Marvin Gaye samples. Yea this gotta go on the album

One thing I REALLY hope changes is that samples come back more and more with hip hop.

The owners of the samples should get their bread no doubt, but one thing samples do is allow that person's music to live on with future generations of fans. To know that a sample came from this and that artist, you can go back and listen to the original and shyt. Don't price yourself out of allowing the artist(s) legacy to live on and be forgotten.

All that sounds good but there’s no way you can say artists should get paid and then don’t price yourself out.

Most people DO NOT check and see where a sample originated from. The same way we want rappers to get every cent they can from their hard work the same goes for the artists they sample.

there are MANY artists especially from back in the day who have the rights to their music now so they don't have to deal with labels and others being middlemen.
