It's my opinion on the rappers he named currently. Why don't you have a problem with his list? He doesn't give any reasoning. Or... maybe it's cause you agree with him he gets a pass. Damn, who would have thought.

That's not what he said.
He put Jay and them at the top, but he didn't say the top only consisted of 5 rappers you made that part up.
Secondly, more importantly, that second list is the top of this generation...the guys who will carry on tradition....the leaders of the new school, as I like to call them. Most people would consider Kendrick to be near, if not at, the top of that group....Kendrick is saying, nah, I'm not the top of that group, put me with the legends/greats; at the top, no less.
The problem with saying that's the second tier...it suggest that he's saying everybody in that group is better than established rappers that don't make that list (like Wayne, Ye, TIP, etc)....that's not what he's saying.
Now, it can be argued that that second list is just of his homies from the new school, but I think he meant everyone from the new school...it just so happens his homies are at the top of class.

first of all, i dont even like Em, infact I can't even stand the dude.. I think his music sucks and he doesn't hold up over the years...
but to say tyler the creator (lol) is easily one of the most laughable things I've ever read..
eminem would shyts over tyler the creator in any aspect of rapping, he is easily one of the most technical rappers. it wouldn't even be fair to put them against each other.. em would make tyler the creator look like chief keefs more retarded brother.
