I don't understand the people saying they didn't really fukk with TPAB but they fukk with this, there's still the jazzy vibe on this that was present in TPAB.
tpab is one of the best albums ever, but this one is more approachable in the sense that its fusion jazz, most of the jazzy songs, while being flawless from a pure objective standpoint, were free jazz.

but yeah, feel like both records are perfect.

this is outstanding, this is REAL music, this is oozing with BLACK musical excellence.

objectively, another amazing project from the kid, it looks like he understands music, its crazy, he really understands all the technical aspects of cosmic jazz rap, g-funk, boom bap and everything in between.

Yo dude you in a Kendrick thread, hating. Life must be sad for you. You need to prioritize whats important to you, because it has to be sad that you took time and energy to write all that when you could have just kept it moving. Like you literally sat on your chair and typed all that. You prob that dude that snickers when people say they trying to get their life together.

I'll keep this in mind in the next Drake thread. :sas1:

This was outstanding, from a pure musical standpoint. While Snoop and Common have often touched the surface of Jazz and Funk, the two blackest genres known to man; Kendrick fully embraces it and the production on this is amazing. It's like a mixture of Good Kid with Section.80, it's atmospheric but hectic at the same time as tons of horns and guitars populate the albums soundscapes.

I knew you would come around
Yea. Coming off that kanye I had to pay attention to the fact dude is one of the few people SPITTING. I enjoyed the lyrics and flows and I'm pleased he didn't let the desire to make music hold him back from spitting them bidarz

it's amazing but it shouldnt come as a surprise... he had 60+ musicians working with him on tpab and most of them are the absolute best musicians of the decade.. the same guys worked on these songs lol
