Man, Kendrick is what rap needed. This shyt is BANGIN'

I usually don't like live instrumentation in rap, but the way it's done on here got me in a groove:blessed:

His flow go perfect for these beats:ohhh:

Rap sound is about to change, and I think it will have a more harder, live sound with remnants of spacey stuff like funkadelic. I love that sound. If it takes off, and brothers rhyme with the gift Kendrick has, it may be the new golden era:jbhmm:

NYC should be ashamed. Instead of doing what the west did, still dikkriding:scust:

I low key feel sorry for his stans. Kendrick is kinda hard to listen to these days: his delivery is :scust::huhldup: and the production on most of his songs are too busy and hard on the ears. But his stans are forced to front because they know that their lies and insincere cac reviews are the only thing keeping him afloat. Kendrick is low key a fraud. :mjpls: His support isn't real.


Just listen to all of these excuses:

this is my favorite release of 2016 & 2015 thus far

its gonna take some serious MUSIC to top this for me

kendrick is bringing real instrumentation to mainstream hip hop

this whole project is a room full of musicians making music

sounds like a real fusion of hip hop and jazz. most of the drums sound programmed but the instrumentation is mostly live..

admittedly its throw aways but imho its more cohesive than tpab (minus the last part of #7)

and its beyond kendrick himself

half of this ep is terrace martin, thundercat, robert glasper, kamasi washington, flylo etc jamming out and reinterpreting beats

i never crown albums aoty before late december but damn.. good luck rappers out there


























and for the love of all things holy please drop that vinyl of an instrumental version of this and tpab :noah::noah::noah::noah::noah::noah:

Not everyone is a fan back in the days in the 80s we called Kendrick nikkas wack and threw em off the stage now it's all beta males trying to be polite
