Dr. Dre is the executive producer (an actual real producer, and not just a co-sign for promo) he's returning a favor to his friend Drake and Lady Gaga is Dr. Dres homeboy/Kendricks label mate.
And Linking Park producing you track, is practically the same thing as featuring Linking Park since it's a band that uses instruments their voice being one of them, MPC's, drums, guitars and shyt the other.

And what it has to do with it, is that you are criticizing K dot but I know that you didn't say shyt about Lupe.
Additionally it had TWO Pharrell features.

artists all the time feature up and coming rappers on albums but that doesn't mean they have to feature them on there debut (example Kendrick features on ASAP's new album) K Dot had a buzz waaaay before drake jumped on the bandwagon and stuck his jewish two-faced nose in. he doesn't need him bottom line. he was doing VERY well with his camp without a mainstream rappers support.
