I wasn't too familiar with Kendrick when this dropped but bought the album purely off the hype.

First listen I was very impressed. One of the last albums that genuinely had a real buzz and anticipation

It's crazy, forgot that he mentioned how Rosenberg played his music for Drake and how big of an achievement that was at the time. It's funny how life works sometimes. Competition can really bring the best out of people but at the same it can make people who respect eachother enemies. Maybe in the future they become cool again but truthfully it's Drake fault it got so nasty. They could have competed over who was the better lyricist but Drake just had to mention his girl and his kids lol.

Edit: He said Dre not Drake my point still stands. Drake gave him an opportunity to tour.

The top three came change depending on my mood tbh lol. Gnx I appreciate but I don't know OD was the first I heard from him and I just can't rank it higher for some reason. It seems more like a mixtape of fire songs than a true album to me.
