Here's what I don't understand about this situation... It's apparent that all parties within Kendrick's camp, care about sales for this record.
-TDE predicting a mil in first week

-The hype around the album and the streaming numbers

I get that from all of this. So can someone explain to me why in the world would they price the album at 13.99 and up during the 1st week? Some places had it for like 17 or 18 bucks


Add to the fact that a lot of stores didn't even have it available for sale until later on in the week like Thursday (in my case, I didn't see it at my Target until Sunday).

They wanted huge numbers, clearly... why was the release so botched from the pricing to the release date confusion with retailers preventing people from copping a physical copy.
