the billboard article says the the largest share per city came from L.A.... WHICH CAME as a surprise since NY is usually #1 when it comes to sales.

10% of the total sales (hiphop) this year in LA come from Kdot's first week with TPAB. Add the next few weeks and kendrick will probably be the man behind 30 or 40% of these sales

Alright is a track that stays close to the home in regard to content, it's not party music or "rachet" and has all the elements that make the album what it is...yet it sounds more current, organic...and less like g-funk lite or faux neo-soul.
