North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Tayshaun Prince still bony as fukk. I think it all depends on a players game. Durant relies heavily on jump shots. MJ when he was younger relied on athleticism and as he got older he developed a consistent mid range game and relied on that. When he was with the Bullets he naturally got bigger and developed a post up but he also masted his fade away. When you're 6'10 with unlimited range, weight doesn't really matter.

The Thunder just need more pieces. They basically rely on 2 players to carry the load on offense. Maybe if Perkins had developed an offensive game, Durant wouldn't have to worry about having to score 30 a night just for them to have a chance to win.

More weight would not help his game, since he uses his speed at his height. It would ruin his advantage. He needs to work on leverage, posting up, and positioning. It's an IQ game with Durant, not physical

Strength would def help his game, KD wouldnt lose his speed, because as he gets stronger/bigger he still would be doing basketball drills and playing ball.

Strength will help but probably not as much as dudes make it out to be. He isn't LeBron, he doesn't need to be diesel in order to be effective. At this point in his career, only Brooks is holding him back.

Am I the only one that thinks Durant should try losing weight? He'll be even faster and then be able to glide across the court.

At the top.
He needs some strength in his legs/core. He keeps trying to post up and gets pushed out of position by defenders smaller than him. Either a) stop trying to post up and look like a tool getting pushed out or b) hit the gym hard and dont end up being someone's bytch in the post.

Fair enough.. but Prince still is effective at what he does. But then you got Allen Iverson who was able to play at a high level for a long time at his size and he was skinny and short. Didn't effect his game at all. Kevin Durant's size is been an issue since he came in the league, yet he's played 7 years with no serious injures. He's been able to adjust and his game is suited to where his weight don't matter. I he's a 6'10 small forward. Aint nobody blocking his shot.

KD is one of the greatest scorers of all time already but he gets moved around far too often for his height and athletic ability.

He needs to put on real muscle even if only ten pounds. It'll make a world of difference for him. Especially on the defensive end.

Some of y'all is remedial. He said ole boy needs to get stronger and hit the gym. I ain't sure what type of beach/jailhouse workouts y'all thinking about, but Durant got money. He can get a trainer to customize a workout to give him more strength, but not be too bulky and a personal chef/nutritionist to supplement all of that. He don't have to go to 24 fitnuess and drink protein shakes. Lifting weights would never hurt an athlete's game if they're with the right people. Durant's workout plan now is riding a bike around for 2 hours.
