Thou shalt not criticize The Dear Leader.

If he ever struggled it was because his teammates sucked or were lazy.

If he succeeded, it was because he was so great that he willed them to it.

:troll:

Coli breh: Kobe was amazing! One of the greats.

Kobe stan: Right??!!! Thank you for saying that. People don’t ever appreciate him.

Coli breh: Yeah I think he’s probably top 10-15 on my list.

Kobe stan: What? Cac. You must be LeGBT. Hater. Were you even alive back then? He’s the best or 2nd best ever!!! I’ll fight you 😡

Thankfully Spurs fans aren’t crying every day about Tim’s career and legacy.

He won 5 titles. Never had a losing season in a 20 year career.

He was great. But we don’t live in 2005. Unlike the lot of you, we are looking forward to enjoying Wemby and the 2025 Spurs.

NBA cheated the wizards and gifted y'all a generational player

But one thing I can guarantee is being a laker fan is more rewarding than being a spurs fan over the course of a lifetime

I believe you.
If there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that Kobe stans are emotionally stable and happy people.

Clearly that comes across in their passionate, nonstop arguments here.

THE ANALYTIC NERDS ENTERED THE CHAT WIT THEIR CALCULATORS IN HAND

KOBE SACRIFICED NUMBERS TO ELEVATE HIS TEAMMATES AND WIN.. IF HE PLAYED FOR STATS WHILE HANDPICKING TEAMS/COACHES LIKE YOUR HERO, THEN HE COULDA HAD SOME 40 PPG SEASONS UNDER HIS BELT WHILE HINDERING HIS TEAMMATES AND REGULARLY GETTING SENT HOME EARLY IN THE PLAYOFFS BECAUSE OF IT

THEN THE NERDS WOULDA BEEN LIKE "WOW LOOK AT THOSE NUMBERS!!!!! GOAT!!"

BUT SINCE HE PLAYED IN AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OFFENSE AND PRIORITIZED ELEVATING THE GAME OF HIS TEAMMATES BY FOCUSING LESS ON HIS INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS AND MORE ON THE RESULTS

THOSE SAME IDIOTS DONT UNDERSTAND WHY THEIR CALCULATOR DOESNT COME UP WITH THE PROPER EQUATION TO SAY KOBE IS A GOAT LEVEL PLAYER .. "CALCULATOR! PLEASE TELL ME WHO THE GOAT IS!!!"

U CAN TELL WHO PLAYED BALL FOR REAL JUST ON READING POSTS

I KNOW @Raul ONCE SAID HE JUST STARTED WATCHING BASKETBALL A FEW YEARS BACK N WAS MOSTLY A BASEBALL GUY .. THOSE THE TYPES

Kobe Bryant is the only superstar where people speak for his greatness through catchphrases and narratives as opposed to tangible facts.

“He was that guy.” “Killer instinct.” “Mamba mentality.”

Whole lotta propaganda but when you do the fact checking yourself you realize the hard data doesn’t match. That’s why his idiot Stan’s can’t comprehend why or how all these lists have him outside the top 10, because they’re so deep into the propaganda they’ve forgotten how to use reason.
And the further away we're removed from his playing days and the younger the average NBA fan becomes the more irrelevant that shyt becomes.

Most of Gen Z and Gen Alpha that didn't watch these guys play are going to judge them solely based on the stats, efficiency, the advanced numbers, the highlights, the most iconic postseason moments, hardware and stupid shyt like "aura" or impact.

That's why the likes of Magic, Bird and Jordan are still lauded by the young ones even after 30 years. Steph, Bron and Jokic will be viewed in the same vein by our children/grandchildren 30 years from now.

Big Perk has entered the chat. Nah on the real though Kobe was that dude man. I shyt on his stans cause they hate on Bron but when it comes to pure hoops Kobe was that guy man. The stories I hear of having videos of Michael going left and Michael going right. The story of him telling Shaq get it off the rebound. The man had it wasn’t going to be denied just needed some good players around him like any generational talent. Lot of hate and I just don’t get it man. Most of it is from Ex players sounds like jealousy and hate. You can’t deny the work he put in to get him there.
It is jealousy. That Dream Team documentary doesn’t mention how they were all surprised at how much bigger Kobe was than they were in China and globally. Kobe is the biggest post-MJ basketball icon. Only in the USA were these guys being compared to him. I don’t think people understand how much people around the world love the pageantry of sports. You can’t box score your way into their hearts. No one knows how many goals Ronaldinho scored in 07. They just remember what it felt like watching him and that he won.

Iconic postseason moments:

Crossing Pippen and throwing lob to Shaq (could have easily shot a floater bye)

Buzzer beater vs Phx

Taking over vs Indy when Shaq fouled out

21 consecutive points in the finals

Gold medal game vs Spain

Kob has arguably the best or 2nd best highlight tape in history

This what you’d like to believe and what you want to have happen because you hate him and are likely a fan of someone not as popular as him but the idea that Gen Z doesn’t love Kobe is fukking hilarious. We have Gen Z hoopers literally in the NBA you dipshyts and he’s a God to them. The reigning MVP is literally damn near Gen Z and Kobe is his GOAT. Gen Z loves Kyrie and Kobe is hit goat. Like what the fukk do you guys be talking about? Kobe Bryant is arguably the biggest post-MJ basketball icon. 🤣 And that’s why he was alive. And Gen Z doesn’t give a fukk about stats you clowns lmao. They dismiss the entire 80s and 90s off vibes and disregard MJ’s stats to hype up Bron. You dudes are definitely work construction jobs - no disrespect. Aint no Gen Z in your workplace. Gen Z doesn’t respect Magic at all 🤣.
