We have Gen Z hoopers literally in the NBA you dipshyts and he’s a God to them. The reigning MVP is literally damn near Gen Z and Kobe is his GOAT. Gen Z loves Kyrie and Kobe is hit goat. LeBron has more followers than Kobe. I won’t go through all the platforms but on IG alone it’s 159m for LeBron to 21m for Kobe.

LeBron sells more jerseys than Kobe. He’s been top 2 for 12+ years, top 5 basically his whole career, and has held the 1 spot multiple times including a 5 year streak.

LeBron generates higher TV ratings than Kobe. All of the most watched finals of the post-Jordan era feature LeBron, with Cavs-Warriors G7 2016 being the crown jewel bringing in 31m viewers. LeBrons move to Miami revived the NBA and gave them their highest rated regular season since the 90s and also was influential in securing them a massive tv deal at the time. The LeBron Lakers are consistently the most watched team for national tv games even in their bad years.
