Out here in my damn drawls
See yall. Drake stans

I wrote this earlier in one of the hundred Drake/Meek threads

I don't like Drake. His music is soul-less to me, his singing is ridiculous, his subject matter is for "good guys", simps, suckas and broads, and he just seems like an overall corny dude. I remember watching that MTV special like 6 years ago where he talked about how he used to cry in school because kids used to be mean to him and I thought no one would ever take him seriously, but here we are in 2015 :scust:

I have tons of CD's, Vinyls and gigs of music between my SD memory cards and MP3 players that span all kinds of genres. I can count on both hands the amount of Drake tracks I have, and maybe half of those are features

I don't fukk with the Champagne Pissy :francis:

What beef?
Kendrick > Drake (no Ross) AND
TPAB = album or the year in any genre

BUT

The only thing he said was how much he wanted to take his fans, in a very creative/harsh way.

What happened?

Kendrick moves half of what he did on his last album, I.e the diss reversed, facts only :manny:. Hell Drakes mixtape nearly did what he's done in his first week.

I think he should have made a gkmc 2 before making something like this IMO.

but that line was one of them "for me and you to know....." type of jabs. none of us had any idea who he was talking about and half of the clowns on this site were writing dissertations on why that line was about Ye instead.

Drake from day 1 didn't want it with Kendrick. that was why he was so furious after the Control verse. then the cypher happened and social media went nuts. Drake threw some shots but even though Kendrick was advised to keep it moving (something he's alluded to while meeting with Jay) he still threw shots at him, ones we could speculate on but ones Drake knew were aimed at him.

You just made me re-listen to that Hood Politics with more attention. :ohhh:

I never really put together that line and the Control verse on that level. I always knew it was vaguely about Control.

But he literally had a meeting with Jay where he decided against responding to those Control responses and causing another East vs West beef.

Also, I'm pretty certain at this point that King Kunta and You Ain't Gotta Lie are shots at Drake.
Kendrick agreed not to take the beef any further directly, but he found a way to slip a couple shots in.:pachaha:

I don't know, I dont really care about rappers. The album is dope as fukk and its doing alright (plus getting all types of awards and shyt like that). It didn't do as well commercially but really, I couldn't care about that. I think the timing was perfect as well in regards to the internets and the people really giving a fukk about all the fukkery going on. Both racism and black and black.

He's extremely talented, I think that he'll have a lot of time to drop all types of projects.

Yup, its going to sweep awards and it's obviously album of the years. It might even win the aoty from the Grammies. And Aubrey will continue to be mad that he doesn't have the same critical acclaim that duckworth has. That's the reason why he's trying to do something different with vft6:lolbron:. shyt ain't going to be no 808's though. Drake just isn't creative enough.

As far as the beef goes though, he took an L for only talking about wanting to take fans and failing with it.

It'll be interesting though, I don't know if Drake can release a creme de la creme album. Or if he'll keep on doing extemly enjoyable but a bit too easy albums. Imo he has invite a couple of interesting producers to work with then ovo crew.

Drake also took an L for being emotional and not being able to get over a having his name said on a song 2 years ago.

Edit: and for being scared to go toe to toe with duckworth.
