Yup. People in the other thread were calling the 400k predictions too low before release.
No single until yesterday and he didn’t include The Heart Part 5 on the album, which was streaming EXTREMELY well.
Plus no physicals.
In 2017 Humble was a number 1 smash hit that helped propel the album. None of that on this project
350K is To Pimp A Butterfly territory, which this album is even LESS commercially viable than that project. So his numbers are pretty good all things considered. Kanye went on an entire album listening promo tour across STADIUMS whilst doing any and everything he could to become a 24/7 TMZ media headline and still “only” managed 309k first week.

These are great first week numbers. I expect him to still do 150-200k next week and be the number 2 album in the country because Post Malone numbers will be crazy.
The rollout was great. The hype was real. He’s doing good numbers. The album was good for what it is.

What's the point of bringing up Drake? Nobody has said Kendrick is going to outsell Drake.
Damn was also his most commercial album, vs a sonic therapy program.
