What bangers does DJ Quik have...?

I know he produced "Hearts Of Men" one of my favourite Pac songs, but other than that, it seems like he is one of those old school legendary "your favourite producer's producer" like Dilla...

Lots of praises, but the catalogue is severely lacking CERTIFIED bangers...I am talking "In The Club" level "crush the buildings" bangers...Not your personal "hot songs"...

He's responsible for bringing Roger Troutman to Dre for California Luv...so give em some of the credit like Dre always takes, and he cleaned and added shyt to a lot of the songs on AEOM....and if Kendrick a hitmaker he can make his own hits no matter what Quik give em,Quik there for guidance to help that man construct a classic....if folks was pleased with them beats on gkmc I dnt wanna hear shyt about no Quik Beatz...u don't think Quik can still do that with a budget?

And yet no one has posted ANY certified bangers from Dj Quik....

You would think it would be an easy thing to do...Where is Dj Quik's "Still Dre," "In Da Club," "Grinding," "Jesus Walks," Big Pimping," "Back That Ass Up," "BMF," and etc....

These songs banged in every state, and even reached Canada...

Dj Quik is NOT a BIG RECORD producer...He is a filler producer, when you want to get props from a certain region...

Quik never had that mainstream success as a producer, but he's never been a slouch on the beats. You honestly need to dig into Quik's Discography just for his production alone before you downplay him. All the joints you named are dope beats but their just the beat, the artist makes it a hit. Just because a beat he did didn't eventually turn into mainstream success, makes him or anybody else less great. Like you mentioned Dilla is your favorite producer's producer.....Dilla produced "Find A Way" for tribe called quest and that's still one of the illest beats ever, and better then anything you mentioned when a "beat" is concerned. Anyway, If anybody was to give Kendrick that true west coast sound it's Quik and Battlecat if anybody, Dre left that sound damn near 15 years ago.

Look at the production he gave his own camp and they was working with little to nothing at Profile, only time Quik even seen a major budget is when Suge got involved for Safe + Sound and Quik was doing ghost work at Death Row. He gave Suga Free a monster album in 28days of meeting him. Quik is one of the legendary producers who can give you a monster on a $75 budget.

Quik got blackballed earlier in his career by Profile, because Profile was scared they was gonna lose him to Eazy in 92, Eazy was ready to break major bread to get Quik at Ruthless, Profile panicked and started sending cease and desist letters to Eazy and other ppl signed to major labels. Quik found Bo$$ and couldnt even produce one beat on her album, he had to ghost alot of stuff thru Amg and Def Jef on her album due to Profile being scared Russell would sign Quik to Def Jam West.

Look at all of Quiks work from 91-93 all of his work went to his homeboys, pretty sure he wanted to work with Snoop Cube and etc and got credit for it instead of working under the table, his die hard fans knew his sound.

No doubt, but I can't pretend he still is what he once was as talented as he still is....my thing is like u said with little to no budget a classic is a possibility....but with a budget where he can get whoever he wants on the song, more ability to clear samples:ohlawd:...dudes doubtin quick should know this shyt will be childplay for Quik and to not be worried:myman:....and this is not even mentioning one simple but pure thing called motivation:obama:...on this stage?most anticipated album of the year this year probaly or next year....dude probaly got a stash and ideas he been savin for when he got a moment like this

Yeah, story goes, he was fresh out of jail, and was at a mutual friend card shop(football baseball etc), suga free just happen to be in the back with his hoes, when quik showed up he came out met quik, freestyled for em, they hit quiks studio immediately 28-29 days later album was done then shopped to island he made the how to be the player soundtrack, and he havent looked back since.
