Kendrick Lamar Rips 'Sensitive Rapper' Drake During BET Cypher Verse (VIDEO)
The Huffington Post | By Kia Makarechi Posted: 10/03/2013 9:06 am EDT | Updated: 10/03/2013 9:08 am EDT

Kendrick Lamar apparently wasn't firing a one-off shot when he put all of his contemporaries on notice during his verse on Big Sean's "Control." The Compton rapper once again aimed his laser -- this time solely at Drake -- during his cypher verse for the BET Awards.

In a preview posted to All Hip Hop's Instagram, Lamar rips into Drake, who recently released his third studio album, "Nothing Was the Same."

"And nothing's been the same since they dropped 'Control'/And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his pajama clothes/Ha-ha, jokes on you," Kendrick said.

When asked by Billboard about Kendrick's "Control" verse, Drake replied, "I know good and well that Kendrick's not murdering me, at all, in any platform. So when that day presents itself, I guess we can revisit the topic." Looks like K-Dot's trying to hasten the arrival of that day.

:aicmon: That shyt was not that hot, minus the first line with the "nothing was the same" jab. :heh: "Ha-ha, jokes on you, high five, I'm bulletproof". :heh: That's hot to y'all nikkas?

At this point, if Drake drops a full diss song that's even seemingly catchy, he's gonna be the one to "win".

I don't think it will happen though :ehh:
