I know yall all want that rugged, old school, talk shyt bullshyt battle rap shyt but honestly that not all what hiphop and GOOD music should be about and I have no problem with Drake and his music. Dude makes good, creative, and original music and generally stays in his lane.

And I like Kendrick A LOT too, been checkin for him since RED album... BUT that verse wasn't even that hot. Controls verse wasn't even that hot either it was just the fact that he called out nikkas by names instead of tip-toeing around it. And Drake had the REALEST response out of every wack rapper (aside from slaughterhouse) that put out a diss and it wasn't even on a record.

I like Kendrick way more than any of those goofy cotton candy blood type nikkas, but chicks aren't trying to hear dude. I remember back in the 90s, chicks were bumping shyt like Snoop Dogg and Illmatic. They are the bellweathers of what is "hot" and what is big in the mainstream.

Hell no. Don't let the radio fool you. They play Big Sean, 2 Chainz, and Drake, but only Drake is selling anything. Eventually, the record companies that promote trash that doesn't sell anymore, they be forced to support better MCs or face Chapter 11. Already, you start to hear a few more young lyrical dudes sneak up in countdowns and in radio play. By next year, there will be a clear advantage of talented MCs on the air again.
