Kenny does realize that if John Starks hits just 2 three pointers in game 7 they lose that series...right?

They ALMOST lost that series in 6.

The bulls would have definitely won.

Thats just like saying the 95 rockets would've swept the bulls in the finals cause they swept the same magic team the bulls couldnt get by

Probably could

It amazes me how these shannon sharpes and other analyst doesn't bring up the bulls horrible 91,92 and 93 rosters...

Outside of jordan and pippen nobody else would be starters on the nets

Nobody.Dream would get his.But who would stop MJ?Vernon Maxwell? BBQ chicken.
People are fooling themselves man.

John Starks almost won finals MVP. He was literally a 3 point shot away in game 6 from taking it.

It took historically one of the worst game 7 performances of all time for the knicks to only lose by 6 points.

Bulls in 5 or 6 max.

Why punish the Bulls that The Rockets couldn't Get there the other 6 years ?

Why punish the Rockets for MJ playing minor league baseball?

Rockets would have won imo. These Rockets teams in 94 & 95 were what clutch was all about. They won on the road in the playoffs and they had an unstoppable force playing within 5-15 ft from the hoop with shooters around him. They also played defense. I don't care about hypotheticals tho becuz we got those Back to Back chips and they can never be taken away.

This is a nonsense take. Vernon Maxwell was a solid defender who also forced Jordan to work on the other end.

“With Maxwell playing a key role as Houston’s starting shooting guard, the Rockets went 5-1 against the Bulls in Chicago’s first three championship seasons of 1990-91, 1991-92, and 1992-93. Generally, Maxwell was the Rocket tasked with guarding Jordan, and he fared reasonably well.

On offense, Maxwell averaged 18.3 points on 51.3% shooting versus the Bulls — far superior to his 40.8% overall shooting clip and 16.1 points per game average for those seasons as a whole.

Meanwhile, Jordan averaged 29.2 points per game on 48.0% shooting against the Rockets — down slightly from his usual averages of 31.4 points per game on 51.7% shooting in those years. In his interview with Berman, Maxwell indicated that Jordan had his full attention and respect.”

Maxwell/Elie would have been the 2nd-best defensive pairing that Jordan faced in his Finals runs (only Payton-McMillan was better, and McMillan was hurt that series and couldn't even play until Game 4). Add Hakeem dominating the middle of the court, Thorpe/Horry doing a decent enough job of keeping Grant/Pippen occupied, and Smith/Cassell burying BJ Armstrong, and the Rockets would have been one of the worst matchups possible for the Bulls.

I agree they lost Horace Grant too. No way that Bulls team would’ve beaten the Rockets either year. Now when they got Dennis Rodman that’s debatable
