How can anybody bet against mj?

They play the rockets, they are losing at least once. Dream would have been a nightmare against the Bulls.

Dream would have jumped up at least 10 spots in all time rankings with how badly he would have destroyed the Bulls

So they don’t play Houston it becomes a great What If but had they have beaten Houston it would’ve been just another watered down 90s team that lost in the first round countless times that The Bulls beat on

I agree they lost Horace Grant too. No way that Bulls team would’ve beaten the Rockets either year. Now when they got Dennis Rodman that’s debatable

HORACE WAS ON THE 94 TEAM.

IT WAS THE 93 TEAM
PLUS KUKOC, LONGLEY AND KERR
SO THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN
BETTER THAN THE 93 TEAM

Just like the Derrick rose bulls went 3-0vs Miami then got smoked 1-4 in the ‘11 playoffs :snooze:

Rockets lost to the teams the bulls beat in the finals 3 out 6(lakers,jazz twice) and didn’t even make the ‘92 playoffs :heh: these mutha fukkas would be irrelevant if jordan never retired

Exactly what I was about to post. Rockets talking this greatness but was getting swept by the sonics in 96, not our fault they didn't come to the finals smh lol

Bulls were running into the Rockets on road trips. This effected the match ups. Give the bulls a 7 game series to game plan for Hakeem and the Rockets they would have def beat them.

Bulls had no real answer for Hakeem.
Rockets had no answer for Jordan.

Rockets in a 7 game series wouldn't handle the triangle offense.

Bulls didn't defeat teams trying to stop their center. Bulls gameplan would have simply been allow hakeem to get his take everything else away from them. Bulls had the bigs to single cover hakeem which is what they would have done. Send bigs in to take 6 fouls. But without the 3pt shooting Rockets can't beat the bulls and that is what the bulls would have taken from the Rockets their outside shooting.

Probably could

It amazes me how these shannon sharpes and other analyst doesn't bring up the bulls horrible 91,92 and 93 rosters...

Outside of jordan and pippen nobody else would be starters on the nets
because it shows how GREAT MJ and Pip were. ive been saying for years them nikkas was scrubs. but :manny:

Above the fray.
Would have beaten the "shaking off rust" MJ who joined the Bulls at the end of the regular season.
The game humbled Jordan, and showed him that just coming back like he never left wasn't what he thought It was.

I agree. The Bulls had no answer for the Rockets whenever they faced them

Rockets are winning the 1994 and 1995 Finals if the Bulls made it to the Finals
The team the Bulls with Jordan on the team lost to in 1995, The Magic, got swept by the Rockets

Phil would let Hakeem go off. no doubles. and keep everyone else in check. I could def see him averaging 40.

Mike would average 40 too tho.

Why would Mike average 40? He only averaged 40ppg five times in 37 series (13.5%), and all of those squads had inferior defenses.

1994 Rockets had the #2 defense in the NBA, Hakeem was the greatest rim protector that Jordan ever went up against in the playoffs, and Maxwell/Elie were one of the best defensive guard duos for Jordan.

Best comp is the Knicks - in the '92 series, MJ averaged 31ppg on 48% shooting and the series went 7. In the '93 series against the Knicks, MJ averaged 32ppg on 40% shooting and the series went 6.

I think you could bet on MJ averaging ~30ppg on ~45% shooting. They would seriously make him work for his. And Maxwell averaged close to 20ppg when facing Jordan, Hakeem would absolutely go off and probably outscore Chicago's centers by 30, Grant and Thorpe would cancel out.....so if you take those 3 matchups on both sides, you're probably spotting Houston at 15-20 points.

Horry, Smith, Cassell, Elie vs. Pippen, Armstrong, baby Kukoc, Kerr

Those 4 Bulls would have to outscore those 4 Rockets by ~20 ppg to win.
