Glad Kenny wrote this. I was waiting for him to say something after Trayvon Martin stuff last year and Barkley's comments.

Nah, at the end of hte day they are a basketball show. None of those dudes are qualified to talk about this. They need to focus on basketball.

I don't want any of them really commenting on this either.
I agree with this. When you have people speaking on such touchy subjects as this you end up with the situation of Stephen A with the domestic violence deal. There's a level of nuance that needs to be present in these sorts of discussions and if there isn't you end up with two sides just screaming at each other without the other listening as well as people have studied up on the facts of the case and all the twists, turns, and lies that have happened which I don't think they all will have.

I hate open letters from any of these public figures. They just scream for public attention and to get more twitter followers, extra facebook and isntagram likes. N*gga just email, call, or text the dude yourself. Social media has made everyone feel like they can publish their diaries on twitter, facebook, and instagram, instead of addressing the individual in person they can say how they really feel behind a computer for the world to read.

this is my issue with the coli, why do you (not just you, general sentiments in every thread) think everyone is going to go to their workplace expressing every view of theirs, no matter how offensive? do you start discussions with your white boss, co workers, teachers, or classmates, etc. going off on your disgust of whites, gays, etc and/or expressing your deepest hate or 100% honest opinion, etc? i know i've worked with white men who, thru various covert comments, have revealed they're the type to be sitting at home calling these protesters "******", but they've never said anything crazy to me because work is not the platform for them to go off the handle. these subjects aren't black and white, nor are the actions people should take.

Nobody is expecting Shaq to go on there and call white people cacs and shyt.

However, when the Donald Sterling thing popped off, he was largely silent. Ernie was trying to get the thoughts of Chuck, Kenny and Shaq out, and he was bewildered at how docile they were, and it was actually Ernie who spoke up the most about how Sterling shouldn't have a place in the NBA etc.

This is the issue here, you jump from 0-100 and criticize coli posters for them not calling white people devils on air, but that's a ridiculous idea and you know deep down that's not what we want. We do however, want them to speak on the real issues in a clear and diplomatic way.

Had me til he said this isn't race related

Yeah he was playing it awful safe there.

If a white dude can shoot up a movie theater with machine guns and kill a bunch of people, he can be apprehended but Mike Brown can't? With video evidence of Mike Brown raising his arms up in surrender by eye witnesses on the scene? Why does the white guy who murdered people with machine guns get arrested, but Mike Brown who was unarmed and raised his arms in surrender get shot 6-7 times?

This is the type of shyt white people like to ignore.

Well since barkely has been in the media he's been a self described troll.. I thought he was trolling with his comments about mike brown but turns out he meant what he said because he said the same things about trayvon.

Barkley's whole "I'm not a role model & say what's on my mind & don't care what people think" public persona has gotten old. Granted he's out of touch & he's been rich way longer than he was broke, he's not articulate & I cringe when he speaks because you know he will say something stupid. He's always bragging about being a millionaire but he can barely make coherent sentences. He's a walking minstrel show & kenny was telling him in subtle way that a lot of whites view him the same way they view the other c00ns.

Kenny was all over the place trying to say what happen to mike & trayvon wasn't about race is wrong, it WASN'T a underlying tone in but the main factor their deaths..

I wish kenny would've just told him he will get his nikka wake up call one day in private but I'm assuming kenny went public with it because barkley has been getting a lot of backlash for his comments & my guess is he(barkley) will address this & NOT back down off his comments because his old fat, bald headed azz loves controversy & attention...

That to me is how you check your brother respectfully on a public tip without going too hard. Salute Kenny for that. Did about as much as he could without shyt being real awkward at work Thursday.

He kept it a lil TOO sugar coated, but we'll take it. I kept thinking about how Chris Webber would react to working with that lame was uncle Tom, but Kenny is a black man too. No black man with sense can feel comfortable straight rocking with that shyt chuck been spitting.

I like how Kenny sucks up to Charles a nd makes him feel good about himself before telling him what he had to tell him. They thought me that in marketing class. You can tell a person whatever you want to tell them, it's just how you say it.
