this is my issue with the coli, why do you (not just you, general sentiments in every thread) think everyone is going to go to their workplace expressing every view of theirs, no matter how offensive? do you start discussions with your white boss, co workers, teachers, or classmates, etc. going off on your disgust of whites, gays, etc and/or expressing your deepest hate or 100% honest opinion, etc? i know i've worked with white men who, thru various covert comments, have revealed they're the type to be sitting at home calling these protesters "******", but they've never said anything crazy to me because work is not the platform for them to go off the handle. these subjects aren't black and white, nor are the actions people should take.
This goes both ways though. White people in the NFL have come out swinging saying that the players were wrong for what they did and need to apologize. Why are they allowed to take a side but we're not? Because they have the power? I'm not saying come out calling people crakas or anything like that. But speak from the heart. White people are going to be offended by anything we do no matter what it is if it isn't being submissive. People like Shaq who have money can help bridge us to getting power through businesses which give us jobs which give us money.
