He averaged 5 assist pre game in the dead ball area. What would he do with spacing
That’s the problem with posters on this forum. you all don’t watch games and don’t know what you are talking about most of the time.

Averaging assists isn’t facilitating and setting up an offense. Its not being trusted to make the right decisions one the ball. Webber was a great post passer, but when he was indulged in DC as a point forward he became a turnover machine.

This is where y’all have me fukked up. He isn’t leading shyt. He’s the guy that stands at the three and makes passes but he’s not running pick and roll, his gravity penetrating isn’t causing opening. He’s Ben Simmons on offense and y’all trash him.

THIS IS DISRESPECTFUL AS fukk
TO BEN SIMMONS PRE MENTAL ILLNESS.

SIMMONS ACTUALLY DID
RUN THE OFFENSE, HAD GRAVITY,
SET UP TEAMMATES,
A REAL 2 WAY PLAYER,
ALL STAR ON HIS OWN MERIT
AND NOT A TEAM SUCCESS
PARTICIPATION ALL STAR

Don't see a problem in this. I mean Draymond likes to talk trash on basketball players, it's only fair active or retired players talked bad about him too.

Great defense but really bad offense. Imagine how bad his offense would be if he was on the team that didn't have a single player that demanded a double team defense.

People in here mentioning guys like KG...I mean KG would have like 6 championships if he got drafted by those Warriors.

He is one of the best defensive players ever

What dont yall get. Basketball is more than just offense

And he is the leader on offense on team with arguably the best point guard ever

The man is 9x all defense
2x all nba
4x all star
Steal champ

And you asking why is he celebrated and horace grant is not lol

Yall keep parroting that who he played with shyt lol
Is he though? So what's Matrix? Matrix is one of the greatest on-the-ball AND help defenders ever, and never received any of the accolades that Draymond has. So I guess Matrix isn't an all-time great defender. What about Tayshaun? Sheed? That team worked because they had 4 of the top on the ball defenders at their positions, yet Ben got all of the accolades. Byron Scott...hell, Horace Grant was the interior defender and had the play the role of shotblocker for the Bulls, but no one ever mentions his importance. look at Thorpe & Mad Max, as that was their role on the Rockets teams. No one elevates their roles.

This is why the "resume" argument is pointless. Draymond being a loudmouth, and the only bully in a soft era is what has people elevating him. There's no one there to check him and bring him down to earth. Dude average triple 7s but y'all believe he's one of the greatest ever for being a "glue guy".

Why is Rodman more praised than Draymond?

He has fewer seasons averaging 10PPG than Draymond. Never averaged a double double, shot 58% from FT, never averaged 1 steal or 1 block for a season, has 1 career triple double to Draymond’s 43.

Andre Drummond > Rodman
Rodman rebounded the ball like a madman. He was an elite rebounder and he gets the right amount of praise. No one EVER calls him of the greatest PFs of all-time. They go through like 50 PFs before he even gets consideration. He was an elite rebounder and a great defender, and could pass the ball. He also did what he did for the Pistons, the Spurs and the Bulls..no matter who was on the floor. Draymond can't say the same since he's not elite at anything. Rodman wasn't even rewarded for leading the league in rebounds for like 5 straight years. Matter of fact, the ONLY time Rodman gets brought up is when people elevate Draymond. AND I've said multiple times on here that Andre Drummond doesn't get enough credit for his rebounding..or his post defense. Draymond can Michael Cooper his way to the Hall for being an integral part of his team's run, but he talks like he's Steph...or Durant. He's not even Klay.

Exactly my point, yet worst stats.
Brother, if people who watch bball closely understand Draymond’s impact, if his teammates understand Draymond’s impact, if his opponents understand Draymond’s impact, if coaches understand Draymond’s impact, if you can’t see how an undersized team constantly ranks high in rim defense, etc. I think your sole focus on three numbers show you don’t understand the sport as strongly as you think.
