Everyone has their own definition of what superstar is, so with his own definition it’s probably true.

With a donkey’s definition it’s probably nobody and with a 13 year old nba Stan it’s probably 50 guys.

With that being said. If the definition is famous beyond basketball, as far as people who have zero basketball interest still knowing Curry and Lebron regardless of where they live. It makes sense.

Jordan and Kobe received than same criticism you are speaking of until they shut the critics up.

LeBron stans blame everyone but him for his recent flameouts.

False. LeBron is the only created superstar. Steph Curry was organic. They have trid to make others superstars but people don't really care or buy into the "hype".

I don't think the next generation will have stans at all. Not worth it

Being overseas and around a dude who has more followers than Steph and Bron, yeah….they are only two megastars considered superstars in the league now.

My homie is one of the world’s most known fitness influencers. Shaq and other NBA heads follow him. He only touts Shaq, Steph, and Bron as major followers in his press kit :manny:
Yeah right

Just a brain dead take. Steph and Bron are the biggest. There's no where on the planet Giannis would go and wouldn't be recognized. Wembanyama been lighting the internet up since he was 17. Tatum outselling Bron in jerseys this year. Does anyone think Luka ain't as big in Europe as anyone? Not to mention some of those smaller big 10s names like Kyrie, Harden, Westbrook, KD.

These ridiculous takes that the NBA ain't got nobody with star level draw that ain't get drafted before the 2010s is so tired
People who want a Bron jersey already got one. shyt is just leveling out.

I agree with Kenyon...

Its the same argument I hit cats on here with but they don't want to see it...

People don't care about most of these dudes in the same way they did about dudes in the past...

Aint no REAL Giannis stans, Or Tatum stans , Or Joker stans, Or Luka stans

They get love for being hoopers by folks who like hoopin...But they don't get them puters putin

I'ma laugh when Bron retires and half the threads will STILL be about him :lolbron:...Just like Kobe(RIP) and Jordan

*Haters/Stans are one in the same in this example.

I get what he saying though. There are a lot of NBA “stars” but nobody REALLY cares about them. The only two dudes who really matter in the grand scheme of things are Bron and Steph. They have stardom on the level of top tier music artists and A list actors.

If he’s talking about marketable icons when he says “superstars”, then he’s right. The NBA never has more than 2 true superstars at once.

In the ‘80s, it was Magic and Bird and everyone else

In the ‘90s, it was Jordan and everyone else

In the 2000s, it was Lebron and Kobe

In the 2010s, it was Lebron

Today it’s Curry and old Lebron
this is KD erasure
