I'm listening to Eddie Johnson on Sirius XM- NBA Channel and he's pretty much co-signing Shaq talkin' shyt just like an old vet would. And as he continues to talk it's plain as day.. the old heads are mad at the money these younger guys are making compared to what they made. That's it. That's the whole point of this. Its not even about where they're at or not at in their game play. Its all about the big contracts they're getting point blank

I totally disagree, its not about the money. Some of the superstardom in the past paved the way for the newer generation to make money.

This was about pride & ego... Shaq & TNT got exactly what they wanted which was a click bait soundbite. There was no need for him to say that to Mitchell like that especially given how sensitive Shaq is. Mitchell handled that with class and made Shaq look even dumber.

And when did shaq become the authoritative figure head of big men when one can argue its a reach to even put him 8th or 9th all time and he the luxury of prime kobe/wade.. Bron is spot on...there is a clear difference between trying to motivate a guy or giving him tips and just shytting on him because you can and because you are envious. The reality is alot of fans are bitter and envious so it's not only acceptable for former players to demonstrate those qualities, but it actually enjoyable. That's why I stopped watching Inside. All these dudes do is bytch or be hypocrites.

Edit: And it's funny that he used a picture where Kobe asked Mike a question and Mike responded in a respectful way without attacking him. Mike didn't just walk up unsolicited and start spewing his "motivation".

Their right, if you are a former player and you see a newer player doing something that you feel is wrong how about pulling them to the side off air and talk to them and give advice on improving. With these older players that are on tv now they just straight up shyt on the current product and expect the newer players to respect them, shyt don't work like that.
