But it always reverts back to the money players. If the Clipps are playing on TNT Shaq won't say one word on Zubac and his Great Value $6 million dollar a year salary. But get the Jazz, Philly, Bucks, etc. He's going to have a field day and go all in on those bigs on those teams.
And yeah of course the previous generation will feel like they paved the way and should've made way more salary than they did.. and I get that. But most of their commentary these days is coming from a pure envious jealous stance of the disparity in the contracts from back then to now. The viral clip is just Shaq getting ahead of a potential “you ain’t say it to his face” narrative. Got nothin to do with being motivational. You can see it in his mannerism as he’s telling Donovan “Hey great game, but you not it. How you feel about that?” All shifty and shyt.
And Kenny had to awkwardly clean everything up immediately after.
