I'll put it like this,if you were to face the 15-16 Warriors against this current Warriors team, I believe the former would win. They have no depth. Like I said, they'll be fine in the regular season, but in the playoffs, I don't see them flourishing as much as they did last year.

Just noticed your screen name :francis:
really doesn't matter what my Screen name is.

Curry was injured in the playoffs, Barnes was trash, along with Ezeli(back from injury) and Andy V were garbage, but the current team won't be better in the playoffs? They had trouble rebounding last season and just upgraded the rebounding at 2 positions(SF and C), but they will be worse....

Durant is a better player offensively and defensively than Branes, but they will be worse.....

Ezeli after injury and Speights were trash. People act like Livingston and Iggy still aren't on the bench for them.

But if you look at it from a complete basketball standpoint, I believe the the Warriors got much worse than better. Gutted their bench and added another guy that needs the ball in his hands to be effective. They have no depth and no interior defense at all. This roster will get you 60+ wins in the regular season, but come playoff time, this fact will hurt them. I got the Cavs in 7 :yeshrug:

Excellent. Then if they win the championship this year, you will especially respect it because they did what you doubted they would do.

As far interior defense, they actually have better rim protection than the Cavs do and we don't talk about their lack of a rim protector. Draymond is regularly underrated for his elite work protecting the paint.

Durant does not need the ball in his hands to be effective - he was assisted on 55% of his baskets last season in a much less creative offense, and the Warriors actually need a dominant iso scorer in their offense for the playoffs aside from just Curry. There is no "another guy" that needs the ball in his hands to be effective when Curry/Klay are two of the greatest off ball scorers in league history and the team runs an equal opportunity offense where everyone touches the ball

Adding a guy like Durant means they can stagger lineups and have one of Curry/KD/Klay/Green on the court at all times. That makes the bench better, and they already have Iguodala/Livingston/West who would be great depth pieces anywhere in this league. It's too premature to write off prospects like Clark, Looney, McCaw (very promising), McGee as contributors.

They do have need of center depth, but no team is without their flaws and this will just have to be one for them unless the rookie Jones is able to step in.

To me jones is the X factor, if he can bring anything defensively the warriors will have good depth up front

People stop bringing up ezeli, between him and McGee there isn't much of a difference.

They can both be dumb at times

Terrible ft shooters

They block shots

The biggest difference is McGee's hands and he finishes at the rim much better then ezeli

The only useful bench guy they lost was barbosa :dahell:. Nothing else of value left besides bogut, and the guy replacing him provides enough on the glass that it's fine. On top of that, Durant will help protect the rim off length alone. If they lose, ok cool whatever, but they didn't lose anything critical at all.

What :russ:. I could have sworn the second Andrew Bogut stopped playing basketball in the finals GS failed to win a single game :russ:

Kevin Durant is going protect the rim :russ:...He 4 or 5 inches on Kawhi and that dudes scores on KD at well on the block...he came here saying he going to run up and down the floor and get easy shots...I don't see shyt about him protecting the rim...

That's great.

But maybe since you were the leader of the team in OKC, if you weren't having fun, you were probably part of the reason why.

All this shyt does....WHILE IT'S GREAT FOR HIM IN GOLDEN STATE....is shed light on the reality that for as great as Kevin Durant is as a player...he seems to be much more of a follower than anything.

Can this guy be anymore of a BETA...even his quotes reak of softness...

"let my hair down" :scusthov:

he wants to just let his hair hang :russ: I aint mad...sounds like he was getting mentally tired of leading that okc team for whatever reason

He was the leader of OKC? :russ:

A part of me is now starting to think that he didn't wanna go to the Spurs because he wouldn't like pop yelling at him.

:francis:

Girls just wanna have fun

How do you know that would have happened?

Yall were certain that Lebron was running into a Warriors team that moves the ball and Lebron would have lost to Curry in the Finals again.

But that didn't happen.
