I could see the Wiz, but not the Celts. I'd still hate their front court besides Durant.
The C's had the assets to get a frontcourt player.

That would mean trading Rozier. The C's had the assets to get a frontcourt player.
Maybe.
But I get the feeling that what happened last year was as good as it was going to get. They had every advantage in the series and blew it. 2013 Westbrook gets hurt, 2014 Ibaka gets hurt, 2015 Durant gets hurt, last year they were finally healthy for a playoff run and couldn't get the job done. And I think after 9 years you should have the right to move on to greener pastures, whether you think it was a "bytch move" or not, it can't be denied that he went to a better situation![]()
That's not entirely true, the Celtics or Wizards with KD would have a very real chance of beating the Cavs.
Your opinions must stay the same for the rest of your lifeto be fair though, that was 7 years ago.. im sure you said shyt 7 years ago that dont hold up today![]()
Well dummies need to understand that the beef with Durant's decision isn't about "parity". People have a problem with dude joining a 73 win back to back finals team led by a back to back once unanimous mvp, that had just eliminated his contending team the season before. Parity has absolutely nothing to do with it. There wasn't parity in the league last year when he was on the thunder either. What these comments expose is that dude is realizing that the backlash hasn't let up and it isn't going to let up even if the warriors winHe's right. And if dummies understood what parity and competitive balance really are they would agree.
Clear bad mojo hanging over that team. Add in the fact that if he was gonna resign it would've had to be 3-4 years to keep the cloud of if he's gonna leave from hovering, and it just made sense for him to go. On top of that, if you're leaving, you take every step to accomplish your goal. His goal is win titles. Therefore he should try to play on the best team he can play on. Anything else is simply hustling backwards.Maybe.

He used pressure put on players to win rings to justify jumping on the warriors bandwagon but it might not play out the way that he thought.
what is that?
