Ok so that’s still 70-80% depending on how you wanna classify Embiid and maybe Shai tho shai would be pushing it

Rosters of all 4 remaining playoff teams 90% American. 98% played college ball in America.

“The USA has a problem” :mjlol:

Pretty much these

your math not mathing

Luka, Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, Shai Top 5. Foreign. then you got Wemby who is top 20.

I mean Shai and Canada to me aren’t really international, and he played ALOT of his ball in the US. And like others said Embiid has been her basically his entire basketball life, he grew up on ball IN AMERICA.

Jokic, Luka, Giannis grew up and played internationally so I suppose that’s what I classify as “International” players

Meanwhile in Europe..... 4 out of 5 on the first team are Americans. Same "inferior" system can produce the best professionals playing their style

And Sasha Vezenkov washed out of the NBA because he couldn't hack it. This is a guy who won Euroleague MVP too, at the time.

For sure I think there’s a distinction between players who developed entirely outside the U.S. before coming to the NBA (Luka, Jokic, Wemby) and those who moved to the U.S. as teenagers to develop in the American system (Embiid, SGA, Siakam)
