I don't know why they choose to ignore that US still has like 95% of the best basketball athletes worldwide and really that's what's keeping the gap where it's at up top. It's okay to admit that the system needs some tweaking

What does USA Olympic basketball, which features the 15 best players in the country who have access to the best training and facilities in the world, have to do with product of basketball in the United States as a whole?

Anyone who knows anything about basketball at the middle school, high school and college levels can tell you the quality has gone down. Players are less prepared to play college and pro basketball than they ever have been.

Yall use like 4-5 guys to say America falling off but me bringing up the Olympics is a problem? The best Euro league players are American so their system can’t be that mf great. Yall are just old nikkas who want to shyt on the game today and it’s corny. Every single person says players today are more skilled then ever so explain how the quality went down. The point is both of their games were largely developed in the U.S.

SGA & Embiid both played high school, AAU and college in the USA. Yes they are not American but how much credit does Canada and Cameroon really deserve for them being the basketball players they are today?
