So what should we do? i bet anything you say more than likely has already been done.

Well, I don't have the answers my man. This is a crazed, ignorant country (world) that we live in, I don't know what would work in regard to civilizing savages, we're too young of a species imo to do that yet. It's ingrained in our lineage bro, going back to the african savanna, to be tribal and to be combative, that is the evolutionary recipe for perpetual conflict. Continue to evolve as a species is what we should do, lol, speaking tersely. But on some obvious, surface ish, I do know that what we shouldn't do is look at everything as argument material..."So you sayin black on black crime is a bigger problem than police brutality!!?"...."So you sayin we shouldn't care about police brutality and just focus on black on black crime!!??...."So you blaming black on black crime for police brutality!!?"..."It's two different issues!!!!!", etc... People like to compartmentalize things because it's easier to argue and attack a point that way, the problem is when they create their own skewed narrative out of what you said, then the point becomes lost and turned into something else, which seems to always be what happens in cases like this. My only point regarding any of this is that we should stop being so selective with our sympathy, and I think that's what Kevin Gates was trying to say, don't have selective morality. How can we see 70 black men being murdered by other black men in the course of a weekend and not march and protest and wild out and demand something be done about it??? But we will do all those things when a cop kills us, why? And since this is a rap forum, these rappers will make songs and statements about the barbaric ways of the police and them murdering black men, but then will go to the studio and make 10 songs about murdering black men and selling poison to our people and ruining their lives and feed it to the babies to consume. What we should do is protest and march and demand that our government officials address the senseless killing of black people, no need to give the killings a label, stop killing us period, anybody who's doing it. I haven't heard our president give one speech about the Guinness Book of World Records-esque numbers of black bodies dropping in low income communities, but he'll interrupt network tv to speak on cop killings and shyt like that. Mad World.

I agree with 90% of what you said..but sometime are background keeps us from speaking on certain things....this man has promoted black on black crime, got rich off it, went out his way to say that he wasn't black...then got the nerve to speak on our issues? I can't roll with that...that's like a dope dealer telling me about the illuminati fukking up our people.. Yet you making money off our people's dark addiction... Naw homie keep your opinion to yourself:lolbron:
