I think they need to hedge their bets, Kevin and Kyrie are just too injury prone imo

I guess they really have no better options.

On paper it doesn't look like they have really improved, it's just the same lineup from last year & people are assuming that Love & Irving are going to be able to stay healthy throughout the season & playoffs. Hopefully some of the new draft picks can contribute & there should be some better pickups to shore up the team soon and during the next season.

This is a pretty risky move by Love, I expected him to return to Cleveland but on a 1 year deal and see how year 2 goes. Good for him though, looks like he will sacrifice his stats for a chance to win. This is really the best option if he is 100% dedicated to winning.

Defense and the run game wins superbowls in the NFL. I think qualiity bigs and intense defense also help in the NBA playoffs tremendously. Of course, we all know you still need a scorer or two.
