once the salary cap goes back up this won't matter but that is an awful lot of money for a role player.

they'll figure things out.

I didn't say Cleveland should be cheap, but paying $200 million to two guys who play the same position seems a little odd wouldn't you say?

Yeah if you were a middle of the road squad in terms of profile and production. However, we are talking about a squad whose valuation doubled last year who is the odds on favorite to win it all next year. Letting key pieces of a Finals team that are in their 20's walk away would seem way more odd to me.

Kats laughing but Bron out here making money hand over fist. This dude got his agent's client to sign a 80 mill contract. The same agent that Lebron helped get on at another agency to get up to speed and learn the rules of an agent. The same agent who leaves the agency and start his own agency (I am sure with some of Lebron's money). The same agent that is part of Lebron's marketing agency.....the same agent that been on Lebron's payroll since Lebron was a rookie in Cleveland.

Not only that this agent is also Mark Jackson's and Eric Bledsoes agent.

That damn Lebron ain't no joke as a business man.

also, lebron will set him self to opt out again next summer as well just in case the cavs fail next season.

Yep but he will do that because that is the smartest thing to do as a business man and to maximize the money he can get.

Yeah, I don't think he's even close to being worth this much the Cavs & GM LeBron make really dumb decisions with player personnel IMO. I would have let him walk personally. Cleveland should have tried to pick up Kenneth Faried who's been on the trade radar and does the exact same thing Tristan Thompson does rebound wise but is a more dynamic player overall for scraps & they possibly could have picked up Ty Lawson also as a backup/part time starter for Kyrie.
:patrice: you might be on to something

First year breh.
Watch love come back next year on some 20/13 type ish

are people seriously forgetting that he was a pretty awful fit alongside the cavs last year or did his injury make everyone forget that? :usure:

the thompson extension is nice simply because he's a good player and fukking gilbert's pockets. one thing i love about lebron right now is that he's making gilbert pay the fukk up. :lolbron:

Cavs can resign mozgov to any amount and they will
Gilbdrt has no issue paying the tax
Secondly you can never have to many quality bigs just like offensive lineman

mozgov is gonna bounce in 2016 next summer. if TT is worth $80M, then mozgov should be worth $100M the way he balled out in the finals.

Dudes don't understand that Gilbert is making crazy money off the Cavs with Lebron. Not only that the down town area is making crazy money off the Cavs and Lebron.

It is in the best interest of Gilbert and other business men and women who own shyt downtown for the Cavs and Lebron to stay competitive. shyt it is in the best interest of the owners and silver that Lebron's teams stay competitive because he alone is helping the league generate ratings that they haven't seen since the 90s.

Hell if Gilbert we're to fukk this up he probably would get a call from the owners and the big time business folks in downtown Cleveland saying what you doing fukking up our money and golden goose.
