Cavs can resign mozgov to any amount and they will
Gilbdrt has no issue paying the tax
Secondly you can never have to many quality bigs just like offensive lineman

do the cavs have the bird rights to mozgov? I dont know if they do. who knows, by then lebron might need more help in kevin durant or something next summer.

Yeah, I don't think he's even close to being worth this much the Cavs & GM LeBron make really dumb decisions with player personnel IMO. I would have let him walk personally. Cleveland should have tried to pick up Kenneth Faried who's been on the trade radar and does the exact same thing Tristan Thompson does rebound wise but is a more dynamic player overall for scraps & they possibly could have picked up Ty Lawson also as a backup/part time starter for Kyrie.

Dudes don't understand that Gilbert is making crazy money off the Cavs with Lebron. Not only that the down town area is making crazy money off the Cavs and Lebron.

It is in the best interest of Gilbert and other business men and women who own shyt downtown for the Cavs and Lebron to stay competitive. shyt it is in the best interest of the owners and silver that Lebron's teams stay competitive because he alone is helping the league generate ratings that they haven't seen since the 90s.

Hell if Gilbert we're to fukk this up he probably would get a call from the owners and the big time business folks in downtown Cleveland saying what you doing fukking up our money and golden goose.

Bron's return alone put $500 mil in this dudes pocket. There is no telling how much he made off tickets, concessions, merchandise etc. this year or how much he stands to make going forward, keeping this squad in tact and don't let these nikkas win a chip :wow:. Money is the least of his concerns right now.

Yes. Bird rights are accrued when you have spent 3 years with the same team or are traded with your Bird rights still intact, you lose them when you are waived or change teams as a free agent.

Secondly varajeo contract the third year isn't guaranteed

I know. Bron generating money all over Cleveland. Folks come from all around that whole Midwestern area to spend money and see the Cavs cause of him.

Not only that brotha....Lebron helps Gilberts casino as well. Think how much money Cleveland makes off hotel taxes and other taxes when people come to see the Cavs play. Lebron a walking stimulus package.....instead of sending GM and Ford 20 bill bail out loan. Obama should have had Lebron traded to the pistons and had him endorse Ford and GM while he was there.

verajao deal still :trash: cuz of his inability to stay healthy. they got him for at least two seasons tho.

I wonder how much the cavs have to pay mozgov tho next season. GM lebron will still be looming and making demands.

Mozgov had a team option for like 4.5 which the Cavs picked up so we got him cheap for right now.

It's not a guarantee that Kyrie will be 100% after his kneecap surgery plus he's somewhat injury prone & Lawson is a top tier PG who could provide the Cavs with buckets, especially in the East while allowing Kyrie to play less minutes and rest & plus he would be able to fill in as a top caliber replacement if Kyrie got hurt again.
