He used to be a hollow stat man but not anymore...Love is a legit top 10 player in the league...

He still shoots to many 3's, but that team is structured so awkwardly I don't see him ever being able to play in the post with that Pekovic dude...i watched them play a few games this year and that dude post up all over the paint...right side, left side, high post low post and he got all these slow sweeping moves, Love just be dancing around him like

I don't think he posts empty stats, his team is flawed in that they should have built around him like the Mavs did Dirk. As much as I love Pekovic's game he and Love are not a good frontcourt match because neither is a very good interior defender. You get a 5 that covers up Love's weaknesses, much like the Mavs did with Dirk.


Look at it like this, the Pistons would be better with Love at the 4 for them than the Wolves are right now.

Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Paul George, LaMarcus Aldridge, Anthony Davis, Tim Duncan, James Harden, Chris Paul, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook are all better than him imo.

Love has turned me around. I used to be unimpressed with the numbers but he's been too consistent with the numbers to attribute it to anything but his skill.

He's putting up stat lines that rival anyone but wins do count for something. As everyone has pointed out his man-to-man D is not great and he doesn't protect the rim but he's not KG.

That's why i don't think he's the best PF in the league and one of the reasons KG could never could be better than Duncan because you cant throw him on the block and run possession after possession through him. I've always thought Aldridge was better because he's a guy, like Duncan, you can give the ball down low and get a good shot. Love's offense can come in stretches where he doesn't even have anything ran through him. He can spot up or crash the glass and get his stats.

He'd be a great 2nd option on a championship team but i don't think his total game is enough to carry a team to any true, sustained success

Dude got 6 games of 25 15 and 5. You can't deny those numbers.

He is easily a top 10 player. Only people I'm putting above him right now are Bron Durant and Paul for sure. Everyone else is debatable.

At this point in their respective careers, Love hasnt accomplished a fraction of what melo did. The nuggets had the highest turnaround in league history for a team led in scoring by a rookie. They went from a 17 win team, to a playoff team in Melo's ROOKIE YEAR, and he was the only significant addition in that offseason. Love is a veteran, and he still hasnt made the playoffs. If melo is considered some disappointment by many, then what does that make Love? Love is shariff abdur rahim on stat steroids so far.
