I have all his albums and he worked very closely with the great bass player and musical director Marcus Miller, Bernard was very young (a teenager in the 80s)..

Marcus Miller used him in a lot of his live performances in the 80s and early to mid 90s too.

Him and Hubert Eaves are 2 great keyboardists from the 80s.

58, damn Bernard.

BTW the new Coli sucks

Being a Gentleman
That’s like family to me. My queens roots are deep.

“Who do you love” has arguably the best chorus in RNB history.

RIP

I don’t know about that but I will say he was a very talented musician. It’s a shame that his talent wasn’t recognized and utilize as it could’ve been.

What’s sad is that more rappers don’t reach out to these older musicians for production. There’s a knowledge gap there and a lot of information that could be put to use.

lol oh wow I remember this…this wasn’t bad…they reminded me of destiny’s child at the time
Song (beat wise) ain't bad at all it's just the trash ass lyrics:

Most guys they think that i'm a user
They think i take and then i never give
It's time for girls to make a statement
I'm going for mine, this lady's got to live

FOH with that :camby: . They were bad as hell though...gorgeous. Hope Bernard got paid nicely off all these samples.
