Between this and the Lynch/Kyle press conference, they are pretty upfront about looking for a trade. Sounds like they are confident about it too.

Jimmy had the media in the palm of his hands, well the entire organization for that matter :heh: class act dude, would've loved him staying as his 2016-2017 self, that knee injury limited him forever.

I dont think they can afford either unless Key/DJ take a huge discount.

Getting here and outperforming expectations on the D-line is becoming a pattern Im sure they'll find another DL who will sign dirt cheap one year deal trying to get his rep up. Hyder, Key, etc.

How much you think Key & DJ gonna command?

I mean yea they played great….. but ain’t like they Prime Von Miller or Cam Jordan:gucci:

What did Hyder get?:gucci:

Please don’t make me Google VP:sadcam:
work with me:damn:

Kerry Hyder signed a 2 year, $6,800,000 contract with the Seattle Seahawks, including a $2,550,000 signing bonus, $3,650,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,400,000. In 2022, Hyder will earn a base salary of $2,425,000 and a roster bonus of $425,000, while carrying a cap hit of $3,700,000 and a dead cap value of $1,700,000.

Without Jimmy's and DeeFord's contract I think we can afford 1 of DJ Jones and Key, but not both....I'm going with the assumption we will sign a CB free agent.

I will say the 49ers do an excellent job in getting D lineman and LBS. But they are going to have to sign someone long term after awhile. I mean unpopular opinion but Bosa can't get traded to sign some of these cats. I think it's too much of a risk to re-sign Bosa. Three season ending injuries and he is only 24:picard: The amount of money he's slated to get and if he is out again. :hhh:

Yeah I agree. One but not both. Our first pick in the draft will be a D lineman this year

Yeah I’m not worried about free agency at all. It’ll likely end up like it did last year. We’ll keep most of our FAs, we’ll lose a few key players, and we’ll add a few new key players. Paraag and them will figure it out. As long as we fill the necessary spots so we can go BPA come Draft Weekend, I’m good

And welcome back, @jwonder :salute:

He's the only elite edge pass rusher they have. Tying up 50 million with him and Deebo is risky, yeah. But I don't see any way they don't re-sign them

We finna be very top-heavy team with some of these contracts and dead cap money kicking in soon. A lot of position, most likely safeties will have to be late picks or off the trash heap.

And most of these big contracts are injury prone. Trent, Kittle, Deebo Bosa :lupe: Warner is the only one I think who's stayed healthy throughout the years and got a big contract.

Yeah and with these big money contracts, we’ll need more end-of-the-roster contributors. But this regime’s been real good at is finding these guys in the late rounds, UDFAs, and in free agency

Hopefully Adam Peters sticks around long term. Especially with rumors that Lynch might go back to doing TV soon

People may hate on @Bryan Danielson for being the biggest Jimmy fan but I bet he’ll be the biggest Trey fan too after he has a bad game and everyone is hating on him.
Bruh people just live to blame the QB in every loss.

I've already seen dumb ass fans hate on Trey for the limited time he played:stopitslime:
