we got a couple of them places here in KC. One has like arcades and I think have like an n64 setup on a projection screen too.I hope you referring to spots like this OP . The throwback/arcade/full bar that most downtown spots have now
and I disagree about strip clubs. I like the laid back type strip clubs though. Not super ratchet joints. But yeah, laid back strip clubs just sipping a drank lookin at naked women with the game on tv>>>

You probably just don't like going out to loud ass places, I resonate with that, but you're selling yourself short if you're not trying to hit those spots at least a couple of times.
Only time you're going to waste a ton of money on a strip club is the first time you go. After that, you understand the hustle real quick. I used to be the same, and then went wild on one girl, like a fukking idiot. But, once you get over that, the stripclub ain't bad. Girls are nice, and if you got a group ya just gonna talk shyt with an occasional broad on your lap- it's not expensive, once you understand that all these girls are trying to hustle.
As for clubs, wasn't really a fan, because I couldn't dance. Once I did (took lessons), I still wasn't that into it, but atleast I wasn't bored in a corner, when I had to go out with my boys.
I've been to barcades and most of them are really lame after like half-an-hour. I think the idea of them, is to serve as a conversation starter or something, but most people are just gonna clog a machine with their boys anyway- it's really the same as a club, except you're standing in front of machine for most of the night.

I don't think anyone s**t's on "kickbacks". It's a common socialization tool.
The hard part (for some folks) is the developing the social network where you know people that are doing s**t like that, and that can have successful events. Sometimes the dudes you connect with the most are the ones with the weakest social circles.
Also, at SOME of these "kickbacks" the available women aren't that appealing or there aren't any available women. Again it's about developing the right circles, which is not easy for everyone.
Nobody in their right mind is going to turn down a barbecue flooded with dimes to go to a club. But I've been to get-togethers with maybe 1-2 attractive single chicks and if they both have wack personalities and/or aren't feeling you, it's a wrap. Might as well hit the club.

I've been to a few of these retro arcades (ATL, Charlotte) and I've never seen more than a few chicks in them.
