He's asking why the person that sired him isn't present in his life, there's no world where that's an entry level question.

Thats actually not what he asked :aicmon::ufdup:

He asked 1) do I have a dad, and 2) what’s his name 3) does he know I’m smart. The rest was the thoughts of a child, not an adult processing years of trauma. YOU processed that as THE MONENT requiring a grandiose moment and answer

Your response, and hers, is a great example of how parental biases and personality affects how you communicate with your your child. 5 year old brain got y’all flustered. You don’t believe in “protecting’ your child to any extent so he need to know why his daddy ain’t around right NOW.

We gotta have a serious conversation at some point.

How don’t women recognize a dude is ain’t shyt, yet they still continue to have children with a dude.

I can recognize when a chick ain’t shyt and I keep it moving.

But I’m talking like there’s dudes with a history of not being shyt that women will keep having kids with.

My dad is a perfect example. He isn’t shyt. He cheated on my mom throughout their marriage and he never held down a job more than a few months.

I got smoke for my mom, however I got even more smoke for the other 4 women that he impregnated separately despite having a historic track record of not being shyt.

:dwillhuh: women gotta @HoldThisL as well. Especially when all the signs are there that a dude isn’t shyt, yet they still continue to have a dudes kids.

Oh they know them dudes ain't shyt

Now THAT is the conversation 😂

Odd that in your summary of what he said you're omitting something that you previously highlighted, I'll help:

child: Mom, does he know that I'm really, really smart or does he not?
mom: I don't think he knows
child: If I tell him I'm really good he would trust us.

This is a clear example of the child trying to make sense of his father's absence, in doing this he reveals something about how he views the world. He theorizes that his father's absence may be a product of his father's ignorance about how good and smart he is or said differently, "my dad is not around because he thinks I'm bad or not smart".

I said this already ….in less words

He said ‘does he know I’m really smart, if he knew maybe he would trust us’

At that point he’s equating the father not being there to him (the child) not being good enough.

Take a breather before you reply again. Ask yourself ‘what is my point right now’. You arguing just to argue at this point

I know you said it, I even pointed out that you said it, I also said that I found it odd that in summarizing what he said, you left that out. I'm not here to argue, just reiterating that he was in fact asking why his dad isn't in his life.

The fact that her first reaction to his question is “why do you ask that?” Is crazy. Why post this though?
Now that is when a responsible adult should have punched her in the face and asked her if she was retarded. :scust:

Dumb broad letting her kid think that a father is a mythical figure like Santa Claus, Big Foot, the Lochness Monster and Jesus. Have a fool for a mother baby brehs.

Coli nikkas will do everything in their power to blame single black mothers for everything. I ain’t saying they perfect because they ain’t nowhere near it tbh but y’all be way too bias when it comes to these types of topics.

Which is wild because a good portion of the coli was raised by single mothers

The ‘lack of accountability’ in this thread.

nikkas don’t even know the situation and ready to shyt on the chick and cape for the dude. nikkas may unknowingly be caping for a Rae Carruth type cat just so they can shyt on women.

A lot of us probably got family/homies/homegirls in our circle that we either a) have crazy/spiteful bm’s and yet still they fight and find a way to be around for their kids or b) have an absent and/or abusive bd

I know multiple cats who have spent hella bread, times, gas just be in their kids life even tho the baby momma was doing shyt like moving out of state and such. 1 cat even manages to get full custody after years and thousands of dollars spent.

Caping or criticizing with zero facts, evidence, or context is illogical. Just an emotional reaction cause you ‘picked a side’.

(Her posting it on SM is weird shyt to me, but generally think that type of thing is odd)

Pretty sick to put your kid out there like this for clout but there is no excuse for a kid that old to be asking a silly question like if he got a daddy. Even he is a dead beat or in jail he should at least know his name and who is dad is by now or seen a pic of him. She either doesnt know who the dad is or she is deliberately keeping the child away from the dad.

If you as a child can't pick your dad out of a police lineup, and your dad is still in this dimension, you lawst. :francis:

If a woman’s husband, and I do mean husband, hasn’t died, single mothers are the most selfish people in the world. They bring life into this world because they wanted to, not caring how the father or child will feel about the whole relationship. Two life changing events decided by one selfish person. Smh. Hope that young kid is okay.
