I don't neg much at all, nothing personal, but can't talk about my guy like that :manny:

But dude was off the charts. They said he had "piss-poor" coverage skills @Raul posted that lil excerpt
:what:? Nah fam. Piss poor is a bad word for it, but Sean was really coming into his own. His size (pause) and speed combo was what left scouts drooling. He surely was what a safety is when you think of the position. Could he cover like Ed? Nah, but had he had a few more seasons, he wouldve been close. Dude had a feel for the game like no other, played a bit reckless and out of control at times, but the intimidation factor plus the speed to "go get it" made him truly dangerous. Offensive mentality once he got his hands on the ball, and they were CONSTANTLY near or on the ball, dude was a threat all over the field. Like that excerpt said, he was really putting it all together in his last season, he was becoming a problem, shame he died before we got a chance to really see what his potential could've been...take a look at that NFL Network A NFL Life, Sean Taylor...must see TV

as far that video posted :pachaha:lil man hit with that missile impact...that's how you teach em
I was a Sean Taylor fan, his coverage was bad breh. He was an exceptional talent and he was very fun to watch. My favorite Cane

Side note Mark Barron = Sean Taylor in my book. Dude average 90 tackles his 1st two season wit TB..then moves to STL has to learn a whole new position made specifically for him..that hybrid SS/LB Sean really was...and had 116 tackles last year. Got paid good chicken too
If Barron was a freak athlete which he isn't

Sean Taylor wouldn't have been better than Ed Reed but he was starting to round into form and would have been an All-Pro year in and year out if he wouldn't have gotten killed. It wasn't just the big hits that gave him hype. He has a nose for the ball and was starting to live up to his potential before his death.

Nah....his decision making the year he passed was ridiculous. Had more range than Reed. His head finally caught up to his athleticism. Should have had 9 ints in 8 games before he passed. Dropped 3 of them
And here comes this nikka. Worst opinions on the Coli :camby:

Off topic:
I never understood why Sean Taylor is so highly admired. I dont recall him being that much better than other great DBs of his time. :lupe:
I mean..living in Miami (at the time) i knew homie was loved by the locals but the love on a national level seems to not necessarily be football related.
:what: Really wtf breh?!

He's the epitome of Miami excellence ! U must be from broward or some shyt:camby:

Here you are carrying old butt hurt.

Do you deconstruct points?

Sean played FS for 8 games in his career and had 5 picks.

My only opinion is that He was clearly on the rise. All you do is carry past butt hurt about someone as a counterpoint. :russ:

"The worst opinion in the Coli!!"

Could've should've would've. Reed DID IT. How easy was it to deconstruct that? I'm a Cowboy fan. That nikka didn't almost have 9 of nothin lol. I watch damn near every nfc east game. It would've been a mj/Kobe thing with those two. The other guy just had the glow. And I'm not butt hurt I was just talkin shyt.

How many times am i gonna need to tell you cat i dont watch college sports, EVER. I say it eery draft thread ive ever posted in just so people dont give me the :what: look when i ask if a player my team drafts is good or not.
All my life i can honestly say i have watched.... 2 college football games.
  • 1st one was a party and everyone was watching so i atched. I think it was Vince Young's last college game
  • 2nd one was...man i cant even remember but must have been UGA playing because i was at this chick's crib trying to fukk and she was a big UGA fan. I cant ever tell you i saw what jerseys either team was wearirng. Had my head burried in titties by the time the frst quarter was over and neve rlooked at that sh!t again
As for college basketball.. i think i saw like a couple of NCAA finals here and there. And by a couple i mean 2 or 3
