Maybe the little white girl knew because his Dad likes to keep Cassettes? Still, I feel old. I remember listening to Illmatic on my new Walkman.:skip:
some of those kids were like 11. i'm 30 (close to age of some of their parents likely) and i don't have a single cassette. i mean i still have CDs but i don't have a cassette or even a cassette player. show them a CD player and i bet they'd recognize it.

:wow:

Sitting all day in your room waiting to record that one song you want on a cassette>>>>>>>spending useless hours on a computer/phone downloading thousands of songs that you will never play.

I still have a portable Cassette, Compact Disc and a Sony Walkman Mini Disc player in good condition.

...but I'd be lying if iPod's and Smartphones ain't the truth for playing music on the go.

Man I thought I was the only person that bought a mini-disk player. I thought they were going to be big cause you didn't have the problem of scratched disks cause they were in a cassette of sorts, they didn't get rattled by movement as easily and they had better battery life than portable cd players. I still have my portable mini-disk player and my gigantic player/recorder deck.

Gosh we're old

When the 13 yr old said "I feel like a 90's baby but I was not born in the 90s". Swear down it took me a second to wonder when else could he possibly be born, 2000. People were being born that late!! And he's grown up!!!
That's the part that got me. I was like "How this kid 13 and doesn't at least know what it is? :dahell:" Then I realized that we got teenagers walking around that were born in the 2000s :wow:[DOUBLEPOST=1397490014][/DOUBLEPOST]:dead: at dude explaining to the kids how you had to find a certain track on the tape[DOUBLEPOST=1397490056][/DOUBLEPOST]That lil white girl who knew what it was has a good head on her shoulders :obama:

thing is though i remember seeing records before tapes, and i wasn't shocked or baffled at tapes or CD's, i pretty much knew wtf was going on their. Kids these days i think are for real dumb. Like there was a mental skip from 99=2010
