Jesus...

Durant is ONLY a better shooter than LeBron. That's it. LeBron is just as good at scoring because he's a better slasher/finisher than Durant. LeBron is also a much better offensive player.

He averages more assists and less turnovers despite being the primary playmaker for his team, is a better rebounder, a much better passer, has better court vision, has a more reliable post game, and is still a great shooter.

Not only that, he's a FAR better defender than Durant. LeBron gets less blocks because he's far more conscious of fouling and very rarely jumps for a shot he knows he can't block.

Durant's statline is not impressive when you realize he wasn't doing ANYTHING when Bron was in the game. Hell, the second he showed signs of life, Lebron came back into the game and shut that crap down by nailing a 28 footer.

Durant is the 2nd best player in the game but he's not even in the same damn tier as Bron. LeBron has a bigger impact offensively, is just as capable at scoring, a better rebounder, and a more versatile defender. He can literally effect both sides of the ball at an elite level.

Saying LeBron is flat out the best player in the league isn't an affront to Durant (whose game I love), it is more a testament to LeBron's dominance than Durant's shortcomings

I think seeing Bron dominate like this will only cause Durant to work harder on his game in the off season.

It's the Bird/Magic effect. They're going to cause each other to elevate their game.

We all benefit from that.

So Bron playing on a stacked ass team with HOF'ers on every corner doesn't matter? Durant is playing witb one other all star and dominating while Bron is playing with 3 HOF'ers.

for the record.

Westbrook and Harden > Wade and Bosh

and plus Wade and Bosh were both playing injured in the Finals

Durant had his chance but... :youngsabo:

LBJ is the MVP. Without a question he's the best player in the game. Durant doesn't YET have all the abilities and skills of Lebron and maybeeee if Lebron/Miami go in a slump, I can see Durant taking it. I got no preference so I'm not hating... what gets me fukkin excited is this:

It's the Bird/Magic effect. They're going to cause each other to elevate their game.

We all benefit from that.

:ohlawd: Lebron is 28. Durant is 24. At this pace, it's high probability they gonna face each other a few more times in the Finals in the 5 years. Imagine the '30 yr old Lebron' vs '26 yr old Durant' games or LBJ@32 vs KD@28. :wow: This shyt just getting started.

Let's be fair, Bosh was fully healed come the Finals.

And Westbrook is more athletic, stronger, and harder to guard than Wade but he isn't better. Wade is still a smarter player, a more willing passer, has a better post game, and a better second option simply due to his brains.

Bosh is also a better 3rd option than Harden because Bosh brings valuable spacing, is ungodly reliable from mid-range, and brings more spacing than Harden due to his spacing ability. Harden is fairly ball dominant and an a average defender so he simply can't effect the game, as a 3rd option, like Bosh could who's mere presence on the floor makes Lebron and Wade more dangerous.

Man ESPN ruins everything even made me a LeBron hater with the countdown to his free agency like 3 years in advance and the king shyt they make everything feel manufactured and contrived.

But LeBron man...he's the truth, and the obvious MVP at this point. He's the greatest player of this generation no doubt imo and we should appreciate him while he's in his prime. Season ain't over yet tho KD could still get it.

Kd needs to stop working out with Bron during the offseason for starters. I don't think you can work out with your main rival that you are trying to beat. For one he's your friend, and then like Kerr said he's probaby learned some of his moves and tendencies and when he's gonna use them. Bron wasn't slick inviting KD to workout with him. He knew who had next in the L.
